We bought an articulating arm mount so that we could mount our TV between the kitchen and den and swing it to point either way. It mounted on the stud in the wall, was straight forward to install and worked as advertised. I worried about getting the mount exactly vertical for fear that the TV would lean one way or the other especially when pointed in a different direction. But the mount has an easy leveling adjustment that enables you to correct any horizontal alignment in about 1 second after each move.
Service and delivery comments:
The instructions for installing the adaptor could use one slight improvement. It doesn't say what screw to use to connect adaptor to cup on the end of the articulating arm. The main instructions do say. I used an M4, but it took awhile to figure out what to use and whether it was enclosed.

Viewed this wall mount on line. Read reviews. And it was as easy to install as everyone said. Can't believe those little screws hold up my TV but they do. Strong & secure. I have a 42" plasma.

Very nice product. Strong, cool looking, no biggie to install. A multi-purpose wall mounting plate/device would be nice in case the stud isn't quite where you need it to be. Front/back tilt is great. Would have given 5 stars if not for the included lateral tilt adjustment. (you can tilt the screen left and right about 10 degrees from level) Every time I pull it away from the wall (or whatever) I have to make sure the darn (site won't allow the word I wanted) thing is level, unless you want to tilt your head a few degrees left or right to compensate :-) Reeeally annoying.

This mount is impressive. The ONLY thing I didn't like about it was that the VESA plate is held to the TV with some very very tiny screws. They are suspiciously small!
I'm sure they're fine, and I have not had any problems, but it made me incredulous when installing the mount.

The mount, Chief dual swing arm, once in place is really super. Has the right amount of play and movement if you need to adjust a little tilt or angle for better viewing without remounting or teardown for adjustment. Wife is very happy, cann't see the wires and can play with adjusting LIKE she wants everyday. The only negative is the interface instrutions. They led me to beleive I needed another interface plate for my TV (Sony) and when I did received it I found out that the mounting pattern matched up with the I already had in the box. Don't know how support at Chief missed this one but atleast the people at CSN were very helpful in retutning the interface back.

Solid as a rock. Easy to install. Beautifully engineered and finished. Exactly the solution I was looking for. I wanted something that could support a 40" screen yet would effortlessly swing out of the way so it wasn't the center of attention when necessary. It allowed me to mount a monster in a small space. This mount delivered and is somewhat sculptural.

Let us start by saying that the retailer that we purchased the LCD TV from also sold us a universal mount without even checking if it was compatible. When we tried installing the mount, it became obvious this mount cannot possibly work with our TV. It turns out our model is not VESA compliant and requires a specific bracket. After searching every website, your site was the only website carrying a matching mount. Being apprehensive after getting one improper mount, we decided to call the customer service line. The rep knew his stuff forwards and backwards! Not only did our mount show up a few days after our purchase but there was no comparison between the new mount and the cheaper universal mount. The install was seamless. Our hats are off to the your staff!

I chose this mount because it takes up very little space behind the LCD. It seemed a little pricey until I pulled it out of the box. The packaging is first rate and the mount itself is masterfully designed. Really nice finish, perfectly smooth castings, plenty of extra hardware (screws & spacers), and it was very easy to install. Chief is up there with Chris King bike parts and Filson clothing as an example of great American manufacturing.
