Comments about Chief Manufacturing Video Component Shelf:
We needed a shelf to go under a wall mounted TV to hold a small HD receiver. This is perfect, just what I was looking for!

Comments about Chief Manufacturing Video Component Shelf:
This shelf is not for a large component. I only have my PS2 on it that fits perfectly. But I don't think a normal size cable box will fit on this shelf. But very sturdy and serves it's purpose.

Comments about Chief Manufacturing Video Component Shelf:
I needed a simple mount/shelf to set beneath a 32" flat screen for a zVox "Mini" all-in-one speaker system (which is great--but that's another review). The mount comes exactly as described: sturdy, easy to install (w/ an electric screw gun). Just be sure you mount directly onto a stud, as directed. Then you have a 50 yr shelf. Good stuff.

Comments about Chief Manufacturing Video Component Shelf:
Based on weight, I thought this would hold a cable box and a VCR, but wires from those components push them forward on the shelf, where the weight was too much and pulled one screw slightly out of the wall--which makes shelf slant downward. This was mostly fixed by tighening the screw. Because of component's wires, the shelf holds less weight than advertised, i.e., only one component. Nevertheless, compact and neat look.
