Now you can throw down windmill jams and hang on the rim to your heart's delight! This official breakaway withstands shock loads due to a player slam dunking and/or hanging on the rim. The Breakaway Rim will flex with the weight of the player then snap back into position for uninterrupted play. This rim will be set at the factory for proper flex and rebound requirements so all you have to do is install it and start playing.

Rim deflects down when a load of 230 lbs is applied and returns to playing position when load is removed
Shock absorbing, release/return mechanism is concealed within a fully protective cover
Rim is 5/8" diameter steel with 12 "no-tie" net attachment clips welded to rim
Goal is coated with a durable orange powder coat perfect for official use
Rim is rigidly braced by a die cut steel braces welded to underside of rim for maximum support
Includes anti-whip net and mounting hardware
