This product was used to mount a flat screen above a fireplace where there was a built-in niche (29" deep) for a large tube TV. I really didn't want to frame out the niche for a flat wall. This mount allowed me to span the 30" depth of the niche and have the TV 'free floating' and I can still use the niche asa shelf for the cable box and DVD player.

This is a very strong mount, the strongest they make yet is was simple to put up. It's a two man job simply for the weight of the product, but the ease of installment was aided by the clear and consise directions. It includes runners along the mount arms to hide the wires, a pleasant suprise. The t.v. can be moved easily and can be veiwed from several rooms and is easily returned to it's primary position.
