used to mount bose satelight speakers. These are a good inexpensive mount. seem sturdy enought for this application. they do show the wires but if you really wanted to you could drill a small hole to run wires through the mount. When mounding directly to the wall (wall mount) you can only adjust the speaker left to right or up and down depending on how the mount is mounted, in other words one or the other but not both . I used the ceiling mount option (included) in order to get the up down left right adjustment (both at once) that I needed form my room. I can't imagine these would be good for larger speakers than the bose satellites that I used. These obviously aren't the best mounts ever made but I was able to get the job done at a low low price with these.

The Universal mounts are great. I did not have any predrilled holes in my 7lb. speakers. The hardware was the perfect size as to not damage the back of my speakers. I chose to mount the speakers to my ceiling and they look and sound great. The mounts are sturdy. Very professtional looking. Thanks.

The web site picture is a little deceiving. The speaker wire cannot be consealed within the mount neck. If you are concerned about the wire esthetics on the wall or ceiling, what I recommend is to drill a hole in the base mount (off-center) the size of the wire diameter and route it through. Then use one Tyrap on the neck to secure the wire.The Premier PSPK series and the Peerless SPK725 mounts are identical down to the enclosed hardware packs. (actually I have seem this product marketed under other brand names as well) The composit plastic resin design will handle up to 10 lbs. Price wise, the Peerless kit (5 mount package)offered[...] is a better buy.
