The TVS television shelf provides the space needed for proper center channel speaker mounting. The center channel is also known as the dialogue speaker and is designed to make a movie's dialogue correspond with the TV. It also allows proper imaging for viewers who are seated off center. It works great and is key to proper 5.1 channel home theater performance, but it must be located over or under the TV screen. Unfortunately, the top of most televisions is too narrow to support a speaker. The TVS is the center channel solution.
The TV-SB is also a great solution for game boxes, DVD players, VCRs, and SDTV/Sat tuners. The TVS features a unique mounting system that securely mounts the shelf to the top of most CRT TVs.
Please be aware this product is designed only for CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) TV sets. It is NOT compatible with most DLP or Projection TV's.
