They worked great for my cirwin vega speakers that weigh 10 LB. each. They were much cheaper then speaker stands. Worked great for the surround sound.

I have aprerion 422 satellite speakers @ 6 lbs each.I got these because speaker just sits in the mount.Mine are not tilted. If you are going to tilt them read other reviews. One has tips how to secure them that the instructions don't mention. Very very sturdy

Comments about Sanus VisionMount Speaker Wall Mounts:
Just like everyone here says, this product is very good, and at a good price. I would recommend the same as to secure the speakers to the mount. I didn't want to drill my speakers, so used velcro taped to the base and the bottom of the speaker; it is actually very secure, as all you need is to make sure the speaker does not move.

Comments about Sanus VisionMount Speaker Wall Mounts:
I had to wall mount my surround bookshelf speakers since I have an 18 month old daughter. I wanted to cause as little damage to my speakers (drilling) as possible, while securing them safely. The WMS2 did the trick with 12lb. JMLab bookshelf speakers. As with the other reviewers, I had to use 1" screws to secure the speakers (it's not safe otherwise) to the WMS2 base, but now that they are on the wall, I give the thumbs up for improved sound quality and secure mounting. Horizontal swivel radius is a big plus as well.

Comments about Sanus VisionMount Speaker Wall Mounts:
I'm familiar with these from an installation performed by a distributor in Tampa, who installed multiple pair of Monitor Audio Silver 3s. I ordered 2 pair myself, and discovered in order to ensure safe mounting, and avoid forward tipping and falling (as noted with the Tampa installer), two pointed screws through the holes in the rear bracket base are required. Without these a user can mount the speakers with enough forward tilt that they can tumble, and fall. I have 10 and 15 ft ceilings when I mounted mine, and had to go out and buy the correct size screws w/nut with pointed tips through the two rear holes on the mounting bracket to ensure the rear is secure, preventing a forward tip. The provided foam pad material isn't sufficient for proper compression, but should be used in conjunction with screws. Risking a 10-15 foot drop with something that weighs 5-20 lbs on someones head isn't to be taken lightly. There is nothing in the directions about this, nor is there any screws provided to accomplish this. Conditional recommendation, but a definite safety issue that should be addressed before someone less experienced in installation has a friend, or family member end up hurt or possibly killed
Comments about Sanus VisionMount Speaker Wall Mounts:
I now have two sets mounting four speakers 8' up on the walls. Once installed, they are solid and I have seen no problems with my speakers (13 lbs each). The four-bolt and mounting plate assembly is secure. I'm also glad you don't have to drill into the speakers to use the mounts.
Comments about Sanus VisionMount Speaker Wall Mounts:
Extremely rugged wall mount. Easy to assemble.
One of the two plastic covers was cracked - plan to email Sanus for another one after my second pair is delivered (I'm waiting to see if either of those two covers are cracked).
Comments about Sanus VisionMount Speaker Wall Mounts:
These are nice mounts. When I got mine, both plastic covers that encompass the mount were cracked in different spots. Clearly looked like a shipping damage. Fortunately the speakers I mounted completly cover the cracks. The mounts are a little tricky getting them to look straight if mounting large horizonal speakers, like the Bose 6.2's I have. Strong, sturdy, good looking mount. I recommend them. Make sure your covers are not cracked!
Comments about Sanus VisionMount Speaker Wall Mounts:
These are excellent wall mounts. Four extremely solid bolts mount to the wall studs and provide a very stable platform. I did need to add two mounting screws from the back bracket into the speaker, but my speaker manufacturer had anticipated and specifically mentioned the kind of screws to use. A solid product and very professional looking!
