About South Sea Rattan
This wicker and rattan furniture line has been a stylish alternative in casual home furnishings since 1984. Most wicker and rattan furniture originates from Southeast Asia and the materials are imported to the United States, where the furniture is assembled and finished by hand. The fabrics are from North & South Carolina mills, and all cushions, covering, and upholstery are crafted at the company's North Carolina facility.
Rattan is a vine from the tropical forests of the Far East, where it grows hundreds of feet in length, and is one of nature's strongest materials. Since it does not splinter or break, it is ideal for making furniture. Once molded, solid rattan retains its contours permanently. Peel is the outer skin of the rattan pole and traditionally is used to wrap the furniture joints. Wicker refers to products that are made from reed, cane, rush, willow or other woven natural materials. Wicker and Rattan are natural products with each piece having its own individual, unique qualities. When stained there will be slight differences in hue and color of the wicker furniture and this is part of the beauty of owning a product crafted from natural materials.

We do not need a formal dining room and this table and chair set more than meets our needs. The dining room adjoins our Florida room which is also funished with rattan furniture. The two rooms now flow together very nicely. This set is great for playing games. Also, the chairs are very casual which suits our lifestyle.
Service and delivery comments:
When our table base arrived, it had random holes drilled in the top. This was for a glass topped table and totally unacceptable. CSN replaced the base but the base was the wrong color. When I notified them again, they sent the proper color base without the numerous holes in the original base. CSN was very cooperative and understanding I would definitely buy from them again. I do not feel the problems I had were their fault and they resolved the issues without question. Great company to order from. We are more than satisfied with our purchase.

We used this set one time only. We want to buy something better and nicer. We will never buy a table or chairs on the Internet again.
There are many nicer things in stores for better price!
