The Telescope Cot Bed & Novelty Company was founded in 1903. Telescope draws its name and rich heritage from their original line of cots and camp stools with "telescoping" legs.When Telescope became popular for beach furniture, the company ran under the name Telescope Folding Furniture Company. Later, it adopted its current name, Telescope Casual Furniture, Inc.
In the mid-1970's, Telescope took the industry by surprise with its innovative replaceable sling and powder-coated aluminum leisure furniture. Our Slings are now considered the standard in the industry.

Back fits loose while seat fit is very night. Switch from original wood dowls to flexible plastic made sliding seat into grooves hard. Dimensions for seat were a bit more narrow than original cover which lasted about 25 years!
