The quality is very good for the price. I have two pairs of these in my home theater room for my fronts and sides. These are an excellent choice. I have a pair of KEF iQ30's in another room on the VTI-UF series, which I happen to like a little more. Overall, if you are looking for a solid stand at a great price, look no further.

The speaker stands are very sturdy and easy to put together. The only possible con is that they are heavier than expected. Other than that, they are exactly what I wanted.

I used this stand under my JM Reynaud Duets. VTI is one of the few companies that makes the top platform big enough for larger mini monitors. The 3" round post is sturdy and fits into a recess in the cast iron base. There is a cardboard gasket provided to seal the bottom of the post so you can fill it with damping material. I used kitty litter which made it acoustically inert. This stand is stable, nicely made, and attractive. I wish the spikes were height adjustable from the top of the base, but very few stands have that feature, especially at this price. All in all it's a good value.

I was a newbie when it came to speaker stands and so used the Internet to find ideas, products, and opinions. These stands seemed to offer the best value/price deal, that is, the lowest price for a sturdy stand that was uniformly well reviewed. I really like them and find they are perfect for my 3-way bookshelf speakers that are about 15" high and 7" wide -- very well proportioned. They are sturdy, very easy to assemble, and attractive in a solid, capable sort of way. The platform on the top on which perches the speaker,while small, is more than adequate for my purposes.

These are good stands for the price. I filled them with sand and am using them with my Paradigm Studio 20s which are not light speakers. They are very stable and were easy to set up. The bases are very heavy with adjustable spikes. \nI would prefer a better method of attaching the base to the pillar. There is only one bolt through a fairly thin plate welded to the inside of the pillar. I was afraid to tighten the bolt too much as it may have striped the thread and then the whole thing would be useless. Since this is the only fastener holding the pillar to the base, it needs to be tight.

Bought these stands for Yamaha mini-system speakers. Am very satisfied. They have a nice black flat finish; are very sturdy; hide the wires well; have a large top plate; are attractive; and priced fairly. I hold the speakers on the stands with heavy-duty Velcro [...]. This works, but would have been nicer if there was some fastening system on the plate. Also considered Bello, which are prettier but probably not as stable.

Stop looking. And please dont buy into hi-end audio's insulting price structure and ego-fueled products! This stand has it all. Understaded looks, simple set-up and it is a true "audiophile" product when filled with sand and spiked. You simply will not find "more" stand for anywhere near the $$. ~ peace
