I use the product to project sound upward from my sub-woofer. What makes this product great is that it brings the sound closer to ear level and significantly decreases floor vibration.

A nice price for this item - obviously you'd get more if you paid more, but this does the job. The feet are a bit sharp and tend to get stuck in carpet and easily scratch floor. No matter what I couldn't get the shelf perfectly level. It doesn't bother me that much but my wife noticed it.

This is a very attractive stand for its price point. Can be placed on a hardwood (like mine) If you are looking to buy a center channel speaker stand this is the one I would recommend. Just want to say that as usual, CSN delivered a quality product and quickly I might add, delivery time was more than adequate. I bought two of the stands and am using them for my refurbished ADVENT loudspeakers. They look great and got the speakers to the height I wanted off the floor. Attractive design and very sturdy with the cast iron base....not about to tip over. Thanks again.

Great stands with a solid design. I'm using two for a pair of older and larger JBL speakers and they did the job perferctly. Good price, too, when compared to other stands.
