Comments about VTI UF Series Speaker Stands:

The stands (in black) are very attractive and match my B&W 602's perfectly. There was a marked improvement in sound, too. I have two small nits...The biggest being that the plastic cups included for the spikes to rest in (preventing hardwood floor damage) are pretty useless. The tiny indentation for the spike is so small that you get no feedback when the cup is engaged. Trying to put four of these on is a lesson in frustration. If one comes unseated after your speakers are attached, it's a dicey proposition to get it back on without toppling the whole rig. The other, lesser thing is that the cable pass through is too small if you have heavy wire with bananas already installed. That doesn't bother me too much.\n\nAll in all, these are great for the money and the ability to fill them with sand or shot.

Works great with book shelf speakers used for rear surround sound in a home theater application. Took less than 5 minutes to put together.

I couldn't find many speaker stands to chose from at local retailers, and the ones I found had base-plates that were too small for my B&W 685 bookshelf speakers. Initially I had reservations about ordering online, but in the end I am really satisfied with the purchase. Fit and finish are great, although I do want to add that the silver finish of my stand is matte than in the product images.

The stands are exactly as they discribe. Way cheaper than even ebay hunts I found.I am very pleased with product and will defin. turn to these ppl. when ever I need any other home audio stands. Only con is the small fact its says "VTI" printed on front of stand,besides that,no complaints here.

These are very well built and sturdy, however I was somewhat disappointed when I opened the box. The finish on the stands is not silver/stainless steel like in the picture. It is more of a matte gray. Therefore they didn't match my tv stand like I had hoped. Regardless, they are great quality and I kept them.

These are good stands. The wire system looks nice but is difficult if you have thick wire with spades or banana plugs. Otherwise they are solid and well-built. The VTI logo on the front of the base is a bit ostentatious. The finish doesnt shine like it does in the photo but they are good-looking nevertheless. My speakers look and sound better than when they were on a bookshelf.
