These are very well made, designed and finished solid oak stands. They are attractive, very reasonably priced and compact. However, the cable routing system will not accomodate heavy gage speaker wire. Heavy gage wire will not be as well hidden as lighter gage. This, of course, doesnt affect functionality, just appearance.
