MultiScanner i700 is the premiere offering in Zircon's OneStep family of wall scanners. Designed for carpenters, plumbers, remodelers, and do-it-yourselfers who need to locate wood and metal studs, pipes and metal, and find and trace hot AC wiring behind walls, floors, and ceilings. As the world's first intelligent wall scanner, MultiScanner i700 makes all your projects fast, easy, and flawless. Find studs behind walls faster, easier, and more accurately than ever. The new i700 doesn't look or work anything like your old stud finder. It all starts with a floating scanner head featuring a bright backlit LCD display. Press the i700 against the wall, and the floating head adjusts to your hand angle to make it easy to keep contact with the wall. Move it sideways across the wall, and when the i700 finds the center of a stud, it beeps and the SpotLite shines. i700 locates wood and metal studs, finds nonferrous metal such as copper up to 1-1/2 inches deep, and finds ferrous metal, such as rebar, up to 3 inches deep. AC Wirewarning continuously detects hot AC for safety, and AC Trace helps map out subsurface location of hot electrical wiring.
